Busted

Stopped into Juicy at University Village this past weekend and thought this was the coolest thing ever-A pink bust! I think this would look so cute in my imaginary child's room. With the green rug from the dining room. :)

Sandpoint Swag

This past weekend was the Sand Point Antique and Design Market and I tried to be good. I tried. I actually used a great amount of restraint and only made two purchases--so I'm proud of myself.

I got another subway sign--this time a small number nine. I wasted no time in getting it hung.

Also got this number five..which is sitting on my coffee table now...waiting to be hung.

The show was small, but quite nice. The best booth by far was by Retreat.

I loved this lamp!!

These subway signs had me drooling.

Overall, a great day AND it was in my neck of the woods! Can't beat that!

Daily Dose of Awesome: Decal

I'm thinking of doing this to the farm house table/desk I just got. Love it!

Tablescape Thursdays

Between Naps on the Porch is hosting yet another Tablescape Thursday and despite the fact that it looks like Colonel Mustard decorated my dining room--I decided to participate.
My slipcovers are actually being made as we speak. They will be white with box pleats! Very excited. The lovely yellow ones (that actually look way worse in person) came with my craigslist purchase. The green rug will also be making its exit sometime soon--in favor of seagrass.

I did find these mustard yellow plates at Marshall's that work pretty well.

The Garage is the Man's Domain

Right? Wrong. It is all mine! Although Todd has told me that no more furniture can come in until I finish a project. One in--one out.
1. I have my farmer's table that will soon be my desk upstairs in the loft to stain and finish painting.
2. I have the two dressers that I need to sand and paint and use as nightstands.
3. And then I have to get covers made for the parsons chairs.
4. And then I have to get wheels and glass cut for the pigeon coffee table I have in the works.
5. And THEN, finally there is the secretary desk. The desk that started it all and it still not done.
So yeah. I have a lot on my plate. And I'm thrilled! :)

New at Rosanna

These feed my black and white obsession. And my obsession with letters. And with hanging plates on the wall. And with all things fabulous.

Lions and Tigers and Bears.

Oh, my. I'm on the hunt for a sectional for our upstairs loft that can stand up to lions and tigers and bears. Okay, more like children, animals and grown men. That's pretty scary too. The couch needs to be able to withstand future children, cats with claws, and grown men eating chicken wings. I'm digging the Pottery Barn stripes above and would love to find an outdoor fabric similar to it. Anyone have any suggestions for fabric choices? Slipcovers? Velvet? Microfiber? Do tell! :)

Restoration Hardware--Go on with your bad self!

Seriously. So fabulous. In the words of Rachel Zoe--I die.
